I need assistance with my PTR record configuration linked to Cloudflare and Office 365. Currently, I am facing issues with some emails being rejected due to my PTR records. This is causing disruptions in my internal email communication. More Info : The email servers in use are Office 365. [login to view URL] @ Hostgator DNS @ Cloudflare "The recipient's email server at [login to view URL] performed a security check against your message and the check failed. To fix this, forward this non-delivery report (NDR) to your email admin." It appears that the recipient's email server at [login to view URL] performed a reverse DNS (rDNS) lookup security check to verify that the IP address the message is coming from is associated with the sending domain, and the lookup failed. It appears that the pointer (PTR) record for [login to view URL] isn't set up correctly. 550 5.7.363 Remote server returned sender verification failed -> 550 Verification failed for <email address @ [login to view URL] >;No Such User Here;Sender verify failed The primary issue is that rejected emails are resulting in bounce-backs. I need a consultation to understand the issue better and get guidance on fixing it. Please provide a written step-by-step guide for fixing the issue.
