Containerize Node.js App with CI/CD

I have a Node.js backend that is presently hosted inside the Aistudio Gemini (Vibe coding) environment and backed by Firestore. I’m ready to leave that sandbox behind and run everything as a container on Google Cloud Run, deploying to the australia-southeast2 region. Here’s what I need from you: • Package the existing code into a Docker image, optimising layer cache so deployments stay fast. • Provision a Firestore database (or connect cleanly to my current project) and add any required IAM roles and service accounts so the container can read/write securely. • Configure environment variables and secrets in Cloud Run rather than hard-coding anything. • Wire up continuous deployment: every push to the main branch in GitHub should trigger Cloud Build (or GitHub Actions if you prefer) to build, test and roll out the new image with zero downtime. • Provide a concise README outlining the one-command local build, the GitHub/Cloud Build pipeline and rollback steps. Acceptance is simple: the app must be reachable at the Cloud Run URL, pass existing endpoint tests, write data to Firestore, and redeploy automatically after a test commit.
