We have a project in GCP kubernetes that utilizes single pod, container to container communication via localhost. Within one container we have an angular application and the other contains a flask server. Angular localhost:4200 sends http requests (gets and posts) to Flask server localhost:5000.
We know this is how the code operates, because we are able to create and run docker containers, on our local machines. Communication is visible on our local machines. Albeit there is no kubernetes on our local system, but it is simply two docker containers communicating using different ports within localhost.
For an experienced cloud individual this problem will take 30 minutes to debug!
I have been working on kubernetes for past 3 years. Also am Certified Kubernetes administrator. Is communications broke between the containers within pod?
