I need Microsoft RMS Store Operations to hand transactions seamlessly to VIPay and route them to our Ingenico Lane 3000 terminals. The scope is narrow and clear: real-time transaction processing only—no inventory sync or back-office reporting. The integration must: • Launch from the standard RMS tender screen and pass sale totals to VIPay • Drive the Lane 3000 for EMV chip, mag-stripe and contactless payments • Return an approved/declined response to RMS and post it to the receipt journal Supported transaction types are credit and debit, and we must clear Visa/MasterCard, American Express and Discover through VIPay’s gateway. Please build whichever RMS add-in or external helper service you prefer, so long as it installs cleanly on our .NET RMS environment and requires minimal user interaction. Deliver the compiled component, well-commented source code, and a concise setup guide that covers any dependencies (VIPay SDK, Lane 3000 USB/serial driver, etc.). I will test by running a live sale and void on our staging store; both need to settle properly in VIPay’s portal and echo back the right status codes to RMS.

Hello!, I am a Florida-based senior software engineer and this kind of RMS to payment processor handoff is exactly the sort of integration where small details make or break the whole flow. Your main pain point is likely making Microsoft RMS Store Operations pass the transaction cleanly to VIPay and then route it back without breaking checkout, totals, or payment confirmation. I can handle this in a practical way: 1. Review the RMS transaction flow and available hooks/API points 2. Map the exact handoff format VIPay Lane3000 expects 3. Build and test the C#/.NET integration layer with logging and error handling 4. Verify edge cases like reversals, declined payments, partial payments, and timeouts I pay close attention to these integrations because payment flows are not something you want “mostly working.” You want stable, traceable, and easy to support. A few relevant questions: - What exact RMS version and VIPay Lane3000 interface/spec are you using? - Do you already have sample request/response payloads from VIPay, or should I work from their docs? - Should this run as a plugin, middleware service, or a direct RMS extension? If useful, I can also share similar integration work I’ve done around POS/payment/API flows in .NET, including internal checkout systems, payment middleware, and desktop-to-API bridges. If you want this done cleanly the first time, I’d be glad to dig into the details with you. -James

RMS-VIPay Lane3000 integration is a focused .NET payment workflow, and I can build it as an RMS add-in or external helper service depending on the interfaces available in your RMS version. I’ll connect the standard RMS tender screen to VIPay, pass the sale total in real time, and drive the Ingenico Lane 3000 through its supported USB/serial driver for EMV chip, mag-stripe, and contactless transactions. The implementation will support credit and debit authorization through VIPay, including Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. I’ll map approved, declined, cancelled, and error responses back into RMS, post the correct result to the receipt journal, and implement the void flow so it settles correctly in the VIPay portal. I’ll also avoid storing sensitive card data and include clear transaction logging for troubleshooting. You’ll receive the compiled component, well-commented C# source, and a concise setup guide covering the VIPay SDK, Lane 3000 driver, .NET/RMS dependencies, configuration, and deployment. I’ll validate the integration with staging live-sale and void tests and verify the returned status codes in RMS. Is the VIPay SDK and Lane 3000 driver package already available for the staging environment? Muhammad Saad

Hi, You need a focused transaction bridge between Microsoft RMS Store Operations and VIPay, targeting Ingenico Lane 3000 terminals. The workflow requires hooking into the standard RMS tender screen, handing off the exact sale total to VIPay to process credit/debit, and cleanly catching the gateway response to finalize the RMS receipt journal. Technical approach: We will build a lightweight .NET RMS add-in (COM-visible helper service) that injects into the POS tender cycle. The service will utilize the VIPay SDK to invoke the Lane 3000 via USB/serial drivers. It will handle the payload handoff, wait for the transaction token, map the VIPay response back to RMS-compatible variables, and release control back to the RMS interface. Core modules: - RMS tender screen hook and total extraction - VIPay gateway communication and payload formatting - Lane 3000 hardware execution via driver commands - Response mapping (Approve/Decline/Void status codes to RMS journal) Relevant systems: - Bison360 ERP (Integrated POS, custom hardware tagging, and Stripe/Square payment routing) Implementation strategy: We will start by configuring a local RMS staging environment to isolate the COM integration points. Once the Tender hook is validating totals, we will wire the VIPay SDK to trigger the terminal. We will provide the compiled DLL, C source code, and a step-by-step setup guide for your staging validation. Regards, Rohit

Hi, I can help build the RMS Store Operations integration with VIPay and the Ingenico Lane 3000, keeping the scope focused strictly on real-time payment processing. I’d handle the flow from the standard RMS tender screen through VIPay to the Lane 3000, supporting EMV, mag-stripe, and contactless transactions, then return the correct approval or decline status to RMS and post it to the receipt journal. Credit and debit transactions, including Visa, MasterCard, Amex, and Discover, would be covered. I’ll provide the compiled component, well-commented C# source, and a concise setup guide covering the required SDKs and terminal drivers. I’ll also validate the sale and void flows in your staging environment so the statuses and settlement behavior are correct. Best regards, Ivane

Hi, I’m an experienced .NET Developer with strong hands-on experience in C#, .NET, desktop/business applications, SQL Server, database integration, payment workflows, and third-party API/SDK integrations. Your RMS → VIPay → Ingenico Lane 3000 integration is a project I’d be very interested in taking on. I can build a focused integration that keeps the scope strictly around real-time payment processing, with minimal interaction for store staff. The solution can include: • RMS Store Operations tender-screen integration • Passing sale/void totals securely to VIPay • VIPay SDK/API integration • Ingenico Lane 3000 communication via the required USB/serial driver • EMV chip, mag-stripe and contactless transaction handling • Credit/debit transaction processing • Approved/declined/cancelled/error response handling back into RMS • Receipt journal/status-code integration • Proper handling of timeouts, reversals and communication failures • Clean installation on the existing .NET RMS environment • Well-commented source code, compiled component and setup documentation I’ll structure the integration so the payment layer is isolated from the RMS-specific logic, making it easier to troubleshoot and maintain. Once you provide the RMS/VIPay technical documentation and Lane 3000 communication requirements, I can review the integration points and provide a precise implementation plan and timeline. Hi, I can develop a clean .NET integration between Microsoft RMS Store Operations, VIPay, and Ingenico Lane 3000 terminals focused exclusively on real-time payment processing. The solution will pass tender totals securely, handle EMV, mag-stripe, and contactless credit/debit transactions, return authorization results to RMS, support receipt journal posting, and provide reliable sale and void workflows with documented installation dependencies and configuration. A few questions: Which exact version of Microsoft RMS Store Operations and .NET Framework is installed in your environment? Does VIPay provide an existing .NET SDK or API specification for the payment gateway integration? Which Lane 3000 connection mode and Ingenico middleware/driver version are currently used? Meticulously Humorous Integration Plan (RMS-VIPay Lane3000): You’re asking for real-time tender-to-VIPay handoff, then out to the Ingenico Lane 3000 for EMV chip, mag-stripe, and contactless, without dragging inventory sync or back-office reporting into the party. Perfect. I’ll deliver an RMS add-in or external helper service that installs cleanly on your .NET RMS environment, launches from the standard RMS tender screen, passes sale totals to VIPay, and returns approved/declined status back to RMS, which then posts into the receipt journal. Design choices: - Transaction-only pipeline: credit/debit, Visa/MasterCard/AmEx/Discover cleared via VIPay gateway. - Minimal interaction: configuration handled upfront; runtime prompts eliminated. - Receipt journal echo: approved/declined response maps precisely to VIPay status codes so voids and live sales behave in staging. Deliverables: - Compiled component + well-commented source code - Concise setup guide with dependencies (VIPay SDK, Lane 3000 USB/serial driver) We’ll verify by running a live sale and a void on staging, confirming settlement in VIPay portal and correct status codes echoed back to RMS.

I've built RMS payment integrations and Lane terminal drivers before, so this is straightforward—tender screen hookup to VIPay gateway with real-time Lane 3000 routing. I'll build a .NET RMS add-in that intercepts the tender event, marshals the sale total to VIPay's REST API, handles the EMV/mag-stripe/contactless response from Lane 3000 via serial or USB, then posts the approval/decline status back to RMS receipt journal with proper settlement reconciliation. The tricky part is async response handling and ensuring failed payments don't orphan transactions in VIPay's portal, so I'll implement idempotent request tracking and a reconciliation loop. I'll deliver the compiled add-in, fully commented C# source, VIPay SDK integration notes, Lane 3000 driver setup, and test it against your staging environment with live sale and void cycles to confirm status codes echo correctly back through RMS. I can start immediately. Thanks, Andrii.

Hello, As a result of a detailed review of your requirements, I understand that you need a focused Microsoft RMS Store Operations payment integration connecting the standard tender workflow to VIPay and Ingenico Lane 3000 terminals, without touching inventory or back-office functionality. I have experience with C#/.NET, POS integrations, payment APIs/SDKs, device communication, transaction state handling, logging, and Windows deployment. The critical part is maintaining transaction integrity between RMS → VIPay → Lane 3000 → RMS. I would implement an RMS-compatible add-in/helper service that passes the tender amount to VIPay, initiates EMV/contactless/mag-stripe processing, maps approved/declined/error responses back into RMS, and records the appropriate result in the receipt journal. I would also handle timeouts, cancelled transactions, duplicate-request protection and voids carefully so RMS and VIPay cannot end up with conflicting transaction states. Delivery will include the compiled component, commented source and setup documentation covering the VIPay SDK and Lane 3000 drivers/dependencies. Two quick questions: • Can you provide the VIPay integration SDK/API documentation and staging credentials? • Which Microsoft RMS Store Operations and .NET versions are currently installed? I’m available to start immediately and can work against your staging environment before live deployment. Best regards, Carlos.
