We have the redesign completed in layered, labeled and organized .PSD. If you have the experience we are seeking, this should take no more than a few hours. Our brief is very descriptive, if you have any questions during the project we will respond immediately. We currently have an operating site designed previously with Zen so it will be most efficient to do the redesign with another Zen sub-theme.
Attention to detail will be pertinent to this project. Your communication when submitting your bid will be important in our decision.
The majority of the redesign is very similar to the placement of the elements in the previous design. A lightbox will replace the user login page and the submit drop-down on current site, thingsthatarewhitetrash.com. Please take a look at our included files and the site before bidding.
The full design can probably be completed with modules, but we would prefer you had experience with AJAX and Jquery/mootools. Give us direct links to examples.
Please view the attached files, you can get a very good idea of what the differences will be.
Top menu bar for logging in will have absolute positioning and be its own div, it should not be part of the page's background as it is now; when the user scrolls, the bar should maintain its placement on the top of the window.
When logged in, the user's name and logout should appear on the top right of this menu bar and it should stay fixed on the top page so it does not move when the user scrolls as before login.
We use a font called vegetable frequently on the site, provided.
On the navigation, when the user rolls over the "tabs" they should fade to the orange color of our page and fadeout when the user moves the cursor away, the color is #fcb12d. This is a jquery function (fadein/fadeout). When the user is on the page(active), the tabs should be highlighted with the color #fcb12d.
On the best and worst pages we have day week month and year views(see [url removed, login to view]), these should operate in a similar manner, however currently they do not highlight when active, image files are provided.
The node height should change depending on the amount of lines on the node like the example attached(use css property min-height:).
The rating buttons will be changed from the previous arrows to the thumbs. These are black with an outer glow(separate psd file provided) and red or green with no glow when selected, please use the same jquery fadein/out function from header navigation on these as well.
We have provided examples of all of the appearances that the front nodes may have.
admins appear blue, trusted users red, anonymous and regular users black. Whether logged in or logged style examples on trash-T...psd.
10 posts per page.
Using the adsense module, add a third ad block space under the footer info (shown Things-T...psd).
Comment page, see attached example.
Thumbs function a little differently on this page but should appear the same way as the front page when selected or not selected with jquery fade.
When the user user logs in there will be a comment box- under the node, place this inside a similar shadowed box to match the rest of the page's boxes, the submit button is on the [url removed, login to view] page.
Should operate as currently, some of the placement is a bit different, see example.
After anonymous and base users submit a post, a message should be present telling the user that their post has been submitted for approval similar to the current operation. If you need a design for this message, let us know.
