My nonfiction manuscript is already laid out and has an initial cover, but the previous freelancer left both in an untidy state. I now need a seasoned formatter to bring everything up to a professional standard for Kindle and print. Interior work Several chapters contain tables that currently look crushed together. I need you to open up the cell padding and spacing, adjust the font size so it matches the body text, and generally make the tables easy to read on both small screens and paperback pages. All other layout elements are in place, so your focus is table clarity and a quick scan of the rest of the file to ensure nothing was thrown off in the process. The body text font must stay consistent; simply mirror what’s already in the document. The Table of Contents needs to be inserted correctly with page numbers- I have the correct TOC which was basically ignored by previous freelancer Cover work The front, spine, and back have been roughed in, but colours, typography, and alignment still feel amateur. I’ll provide the working PSD/AI files plus the print-size specs. I need you to refine the design, export the final high-res PDF for print and a separate JPEG for Kindle. Deliverables • Press-ready PDF for print (interior + cover) • Validated ePub or KPF file for Kindle • Source files with your final edits Please note that one of the final chapters will have to be adjusted as I have added some information I’m looking to wrap this up quickly, so please confirm your turnaround time and show one or two recent book projects that highlight crisp table formatting or polished covers.
