I'm looking for an experienced, talented author/editor to help me with the following project. I would like to transform the transcript of a lecture I gave (along with accompanying PowerPoint) into a book. The transcript is just over 30,000 words, though there's much that can easily (and obviously) be removed. I also have a fair amount of previously-written content that could be added or inserted, if necessary.
Retaining my voice is essential; for a sense of how I write, feel free to check out my website ([url removed, login to view]), where I have a blog and other essays (the latter of which are probably more in keeping with the tone I'd imagine for the book).
Incidentally, I have two other transcripts already ready to reproduce after this first one is complete. Ideally, I'd use the same person for these additional assignments.
In terms of turn-around time, I don't have a specific deadline; but the sooner, the better -- so please include an estimate in your response.
Lastly, please send writing samples (or access to samples), as well as a resume or bio background of some sort.
