Job Description:
A novel I started writing has been sitting on the shelf for almost 10 years. It's a great story; a book I want to read myself! But between three businesses and as many kids, it's time to pay someone smarter and cleverer to get the job done right.
This story is about love interrupted by death. A writer with a witty sense of humor, but who can also access and describe the really ugly parts of grief and healing would be the best fit. The writer should also be able to identify the special bond that exits between owners and pets. The feel of the book should be familiar and easily readable on a long weekend vacation, while also having some seriously uncomfortable themes or moments. I am looking for someone who can tie together these "opposites-but-both-are-true" sentiments.
Will start with small project size and add hourly if needed.
