Illinois Adult Driver Ed Course

I’m commissioning a six-hour, State-of-Illinois–compliant driver-education course tailored for adult learners. The program must weave together engaging videos, interactive modules as the primary format, and in-depth text where appropriate. Within those modules, interactive scenarios will guide students through real-world decisions using both the Smith System and IPDE methodologies. Content coverage • Safe-driving fundamentals with demonstrations of the five Smith System keys • IPDE decision-making flow illustrated through branching scenarios • Drugs, alcohol, and impaired-driving consequences, supported by statistics and brief testimony clips • Illinois-specific licensing rules, points system, and insurance requirements, including minimum coverage guidelines Assessment flow • 7 – 8 short knowledge checks sprinkled evenly across the lessons • A graded quiz at the end of each major section • A comprehensive final exam that unlocks only after all modules and quizzes are passed • Automatic scoring with feedback; failed items must be retaken until mastery is shown Technical needs Interactive assets should run smoothly on desktop, tablet, and mobile browsers. SCORM-compatible HTML5 output is preferred so the course can plug straight into standard LMS platforms without extra work on my side. Video files must be compressed for streaming yet retain clear resolution. Deliverables 1. Storyboard outlining the six hourly segments with time stamps for videos, activities, and assessments 2. Fully developed SCORM 1.2/2004 package (HTML5) containing all media, quizzes, and tracking scripts 3. Source files for videos, graphics, and code 4. Implementation guide explaining how to upload, publish, and update the course inside a typical LMS Quality bar • Every objective in the Illinois Adult Driver Education requirement list must be met or exceeded • Audio narration must be clear, neutral-accent English • All text has to read at a grade-8–10 level for accessibility • Final exam question bank must include at least 50 unique items so repeats are minimized on retakes Once you deliver the assets, I’ll load them into our LMS for a final review. Payment is released after the full course runs end-to-end, records completions correctly, and each interactive scenario functions exactly as storyboarded.
