Components ( Arduino Nano, Simple Proximity Sensor, Push Button Selector, RGB LEDs with a 9v Power Supply )
The IDEA of this project is to have it mounted behind a piece of artwork. When you walk up to the artwork, within 6 Feet, The Proximity sensor connected to the Arduino Illuminates the RGB LED strip dimly with ONE color. Then, as you step closer to the artwork, the LEDs will slowly transition to a Second Color and illuminate to Full Brightness as they stand 2 feet from the sensor. If you step to the left or right, I want the LEDs to slowly dim out within 3 secs to OFF until someone else walks up to the artwork.
Goal Specifics – The Push Button will select between either having the Lights Just ON or selecting The Dimming Function. I would like the Project to be powered with one 9v battery if possible. Lastly, I know some basic coding and once the project is finished - I would like to be shown where to adjust the Two Transitioning Colors and timing settings.
