**Note**: Please indicate if you have worked with drones before in the past, especially with the Pixhawk and PX4 source code.
For our drone project we need to implement collision avoidance system. Using IR or ultrasound sensors drone must realize that there is a barrier on the way and override auto / manual navigation commands. Sensors may be connected to Arduino and Arduino will be connected to Pixhawk computer.
We would like collision avoidance for the front and top sides of the drone. And the following features:
- At 7 feet distance, we would like the system to issue a warning (light up LEDs or sound buzzer)
- At 4 feet distance automatically pull the drone back or down.

1. Deliver collision avoidance system (show videos and examples of it functioning)
2. Prepare documentation for the project (connection diagrams, source codes, and explanations)

I have experience working with drones and doing obstacle avoidance mainly with vision but it it wouldn't be very hard to do it with what you need, I would prefer using an IR sensor.
