I currently have a Xilinx ISE project where I am emulating a 6522 VIA and AY-3-891x Sound Generator for a legacy sound card. See the attached project files (and datasheets if needed).
The code is mostly working and well enough to achieve sound, however I believe there could be some issues with the way PWM is implemented as there seems to be distortion in the combined audio output per channel. The right channel works very well, however the left seems to be having some issues and the code should be checked and compared to the right to find the issues or mistype.
I would like to work with someone who would be willing to help me debug things. We will work over TeamViewer or you can send me bit files to be programmed and tested. I have a proto card and test software I can use and compare to the original design. I am flexible with working hours and I will work around your schedule as needed.
I estimate about 3-5 hours of work assuming you need to do some heavy code editing - PLEASE TAKE THIS IN TO ACCOUNT WHEN BIDDING. $250-300 I feel would be about correct. The heart of the code works from what I can tell. Perhaps the AY code will need to tweaking (or at least the left channel will).
There are some other 8 and 16bit projects I am working on like this, so if you're interested this doesn't need to be a one time job.
