Timed LED Switching Circuit Design

I need a timed switching circuit that activates upon a successful payment signal from a card payment reader. This system should be capable of turning one LED light on, another LED light off, and opening a switching circuit. Ideal candidates should have expertise in electronic circuit design, especially with timed and triggered switching mechanisms. Experience with payment systems and signal integration is a plus.
