We are looking to actuate (by motor or other suggested method) a mechanism with two rotating components. There are 6 distinct positions that the two rotating components will turn through to reach their desired location when requested to by the user via a number of push buttons. The positions must be reached by turning through a set series of steps identified in the attached "Steps to move from one position to [url removed, login to view]". The attached picture [url removed, login to view] shows each of the distinct steps that need to be made (labelled a, b, c, x & y). [url removed, login to view] shows a mock up of the mechanism in its 6 distinct positions and [url removed, login to view] shows the mechanism with the two rotating components highlighted. This is for a 12V DC system and will be in operation, with the mechanism changing Position to the users request via push buttons for a duration no longer than 1 hour. The design should consist of the entire electronic controlling system inclusive of motor selection (or alternative actuation component method).
