Tracing the Analog Section of two Board (Non Disclosure Agreements Only)

Partial re-tracing of PCB tracks to Parts. Extract Schematic off Analog Circuitry.

We require only the Tracing of Schematics of the Analog circuitry.

NO PCB is required, NO CAD Drawings are required as we do not need to make these boards.

A NDA must be done before starting the project or before we send you the boards.

Once the project is finished, the boards need to be sent back.

Hand Drawing is acceptable but if you like to enter it on a cad, this will be ok, but not necessary as this is time consuming and not required.

Pencil Drawings are preferred as you can modify it as you trace.

Maybe if you use A3, it would be quicker for you.

Most parts are SMD on the digital board and some are THP on the analog board.

Both Boards are 110mm x 170mm and 4 layers, 2 signals and 2 ground plane/power layers.

The Signal Layers are on the outside board, maybe except one or two tracks, but the board is easy to trace back to a schematic.

We do not need much from the digital board as we do not require the digital drawings (they cannot be upgraded/modified or repaired)

but some analog parts interface with the digital board.

We do not need the connections to the microprocessor, display and keypad.

One board (top board, the digital one) is mainly digital with little Analog circuitry.

The bottom board is the Analog and power board and need to be completely re-traced with caution to ensure all is correct.

Note:

No pcb is necessary.

Hand drawings are accepted.

Drawings must make sense electronically and not look like a rastnest but look like the circuit principle.

(Milestone 1) a- Measure Voltages on the main sockets using resistive voltage dividers
This is done using Analog to Digital Converter, then the micro does the rest.
Only the analog circuit need to be traced.
The Circuit with the MCP3206... must be traced (starting from teh MCP3206 to anything which connect to it)

(Milestone 2) b- Testing Residual Current Circuit Breakers (uses L-E sockets)
The board injects an AC current between Line/Active and Earth.
The circuit with the IRFPG40 must be traced with anything which connect to it and drives it.

(Milestone 3) c- Measure the voltage between soil/ground and neutral
The J4 measure that voltage using a capacitive voltage divider coupling (J4 on the pcb is one side of the capacitor and the user's hand on the other side of the enclosure is the other side of the capacitor)
The circuit from J4 must be traced with anything which connect to it or which is used with that circuit to understand it.

(Milestone 4) d- inject current between Line-Active and Neutral wire (Uses L-N sockets)
Trace circuit which uses the scrs and all their related parts.

(Milestone 5) e- inject Current between Line and Earth wire (uses L-E Sockets)
Trace Circuit which uses the Power Resistors and Srcs and related parts.

(Milestone 6) f- Measure Insulation Resistance (uses + and - sockets)
The tester generate an DC voltage, then measure the current flowing in hte external insulation of the resistance under test.
Only the analog circuit need to be traced.
The Circuit driving the flyback transformer (UCC3805D) and Q8 and all their associated parts.
FlyBack Transformer TR1 is not on the board as it need to be changed.
DC Output from DC-DC converter is on Capacitor C21 (after rectification


(Milestone 7) g- Protection Devices
Protection devices are connected to protect the semi-conductor parts.
The circuits related to all protection devices must be traced and inserted in the previous parts of the schematics.
Trace Circuit with all the MOVs and Transorbs
VDR1, VDR2, VDR3, VDR7
then VDR4, VDR5 and VDR6

(Milestone 8) h- Getting it all together
Review all the previous Milestones and double check that everything makes sense and nothing has been left off.
Check the parts Reference designators are correct for cross reference to be able to service the boards and buy the spare
parts.
Ensure the power supply signals are well marked on each op-amps, and ICs on the schematics.
Verify and Re-trace Power Supply from J7 (Battery Minus) and J6 (Battery Plus)
Circuit uses a 6V Battery connected to J7 and J6.
Check all connections and parts connected to U2 on the Analog Board.
Check all connections and parts connected to U3 on the Analog Board.
Check all connections and parts connected to U5 on the Analog Board.
Check all connections and parts connected to U13 on the Analog Board.
Check all connections and parts connected to U14 on the Analog Board.
Check all connections and parts connected to U4 on the Analog Board.
Check all connections and parts connected to U15 on the Analog Board.
Check all connections and parts connected to U9 on the Analog Board.
Check all connections and parts connected to U10 on the Analog Board.
Check all connections and parts connected to U6 on the Analog Board.
Check all connections and parts connected to U7 on the Analog Board.
Check all connections and parts connected to U8 on the Analog Board.
Check all the connections and parts connected to the Relay RL2 on the Analog Board.
Check all the connections and parts connected to the Relay RL1 on the Analog Board.
Check all the connections and parts connected to the Relay RL3 on the Analog Board.
Check all the connections and parts connected to the Relay RL4 on the Analog Board.
Check all the connections and parts connected to the Relay RL5 on the Analog Board.
Check all the connections and parts connected to the U16 on the Analog Board.
Check all the connections and parts connected to the U1 on the Analog Board.
Check all the connections and parts connected to the Q9 on the Analog Board.
Check all the connections and parts connected to the SCR1 on the Analog Board.
Check all the connections and parts connected to the Fuse FU1 on the Analog Board.
Check all the connections and parts connected to the Fuse FU2 on the Analog Board.
Check all the connections and parts connected to the Fuse FU3 on the Analog Board.
Check all the connections and parts connected to L Terminal on the Analog Board.
Check all the connections and parts connected to N Terminal on the Analog Board.
Check all the connections and parts connected to E Terminal on the Analog Board.
Check all the connections and parts connected to + Terminal on the Analog Board.
Check all the connections and parts connected to - Terminal on the Analog Board.

Check all connections and parts conected to U12 on the digital board.
Check all connections and parts conected to U6 on the digital board.
Check all connections and parts conected to U5 on the digital board.
Check all connections and parts conected to J7 on the digital board.

Payment Schedules for this project is as follows:

Milestone 1 = 10% at completion// So at successful completion of Milestone 1, the total paid is 10% of the project accepted cost.
Milestone 2 = 10% at completion// So at successful completion of Milestone 2, the total paid is 20% of the project accepted cost.
Milestone 3 = 10% at completion// So at successful completion of Milestone 3, the total paid is 30% of the project accepted cost.
Milestone 4 = 10% at completion// So at successful completion of Milestone 4, the total paid is 40% of the project accepted cost.
Milestone 5 = 10% at completion// So at successful completion of Milestone 5, the total paid is 50% of the project accepted cost.
Milestone 6 = 10% at completion// So at successful completion of Milestone 6, the total paid is 60% of the project accepted cost.
Milestone 7 = 10% at completion// So at successful completion of Milestone 7, the total paid is 70% of the project accepted cost.
Milestone 8 = 30% at completion// So at successful completion of Milestone 8, the total paid is 100% of the project accepted cost.
