My XG Mobile 6850M turns on for a split-second—one blink of the power LED—and dies. Swapping adapters, reseating the connector, and a quick bench test at a local shop ruled out obvious shorts, but nothing more. Because the unit is long out of warranty, I’m looking for a true board-level specialist who can take the module by mail, trace the fault on the power rails (or GPU section if that’s where it hides), replace whatever component has failed, and return a fully working device. I’ll cover insured shipping both ways. When you reply, include a concise proposal that outlines: • how you’ll document the repair so I understand what failed and why. If you’ve revived similar eGPU docks, ROG Flow accessories, or compact high-current power stages, let me know—the closer the experience, the better.
