At power-up the Nano should cycle through all eight channels until a valid video signal is found, then lock on that channel and stop scanning. A compact LED screen mounted on the front panel must show a clear “searching” indication while sweeping and switch to “signal found” (with current channel number) once video is detected. Pressing a panel button should immediately restart the scan so I can keep looking for new FPV drone feeds. Because the Nano’s only task is to drive the receiver, the composite video line goes straight from the VRX to a Hawk Eye monitor; the sketch simply changes channels and updates the display. Please include whatever signal-strength or sync-lock check you prefer for reliable detection.
