The board must: • Take 12 – 14.4 V DC in through a fused and switched line • Cut the load when the input falls below a programmable 12 V threshold (behaviour similar to the XH-M609) • Boost the line to a regulated 30 V DC • Deliver 7 A at 30 V for at least 5 s while the starter motor drags the battery down, then automatically revert to pass-through operation • Present the main output on a 5.5 mm × 2.1 mm barrel jack Because the board sits in an automotive environment I expect attention to transient protection, reverse-polarity safeguards, thermal considerations, and vibration-resistant component choices; overall footprint is flexible, so you can optimise layout and thermal paths first. Deliverables I need from you: 1. Complete schematic with part numbers and protective circuitry 2. PCB layout files (KiCad, Altium or Eagle preferred) and Gerbers ready for fabrication 3. Bill of materials with automotive-grade component suggestions 4. As the requirement is 30V/7A so it wont be good idea to use super cap (possible, but will overly complicate things) and I would suggest you to go with litium battery at least 3S in order to ease the boost converter design. However, you haven't mentioned few details like over current protection, thermal protection etc. For best design, a small MCU would fit here nicely, but that's not viable solution here unless you are thinking it as product rather than one of product for personal use. A professional design needs fine tunning, stringent product testing and all these stuff will add up development cost beyond your price bracket.
