I’m building an embedded IoT device intended for industrial control environments and need an experienced developer who can take it from concept to working prototype. Scope The core of the project is a reliable, low-power embedded platform that can sit on the factory floor, read multiple sensor inputs, and talk securely to a cloud or on-premise server. Robustness, easy field-upgrades, and tight integration between hardware and firmware are critical. Required capabilities • Remote monitoring and control • Data collection and analytics • Predictive maintenance What I expect as deliverables 1. Schematics, BOM, and PCB layout files for the hardware. 2. Production-ready firmware (C/C++ or an RTOS) with documented APIs, OTA update hooks, and secure network stack (MQTT, TLS, or equivalent). 3. A simple web or mobile dashboard mock-up that visualises live data and allows basic control commands, just to prove end-to-end connectivity. 4. Step-by-step build and deployment instructions so my in-house team can replicate the setup. Acceptance criteria • Stable communication over at least one industrial fieldbus or Ethernet/Wi-Fi interface. • Sensor data reaches the dashboard with <2 s latency under normal load. • Firmware compiles without warnings and passes a 48-hour continuous stress test. • Complete project folder handed over in an organised, buildable state.
