I need someone to layout 2 printed circuit boards for me.
1) The first will be a very small basic core 2 motherboard. The goal is to make it as tiny as possible. It needs basic features, ethernet, usb and video. All connections will be via pci or isa connector to a backplane. There should be a handful of status LEDs to indicate ethernet link speed, traffic, power on/standby, etc. The board needs to be able to plug into a slot. The slot will be used to route the functions I need from the board to a backplane (I will need the back plane designed to). I may want the ability to have a compaq flash card on the board to that I can boot off of.
2) I will need the following on the backplane: Power for the motherboards (12v, 5v, 3.3v) 2 Ethernet ports 1 VGA Port 2 USB Ports 1 SATA Port 1 Reset Button 1 Power Button And a standard ATX power connector to supply power to the boards. The backplane one side will contain 4 slots in order to accept 4 of the above motherboards. On the reverse side I will need connectors for the ports above. There will be 4 sets for each, which will map to the individual COM Express boards. This is an initial Proof of Concept.
The plan is to release this as open source hardware.
## Deliverables
1) Schematics/Board Layout (Gerber files prefered).
2) Bill of materials
3) Deliverables provided must be at least the minimum to successfully build a functioning prototype the PCB board.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
## Platform
Slot to backplane to be on longest dimention.
Board should support fastest intel quad core 2 processor available
