Simulation model for Client Server Bursty Multi Traffic Queue
1). There are three types of traffic generated by clients (Mobile phone, PDA’s etc )
Video packets, Voice packets, Data packets
2). These packets arrive at the server in burst each burst size is from 1 to infinity
3). The server can process S number of packets simultaneously, When there are Sc packets in Server all data packets are blocked, when there are Sd packets in server all voice packets are blocked and when there are S packets in Server Video packets wait in queue of size N. when queue is full all packets are blocked
4). All packets are generated from an infinite source and packets are independent and exponentially distributed.
5). When packets arrive simultaneously the one with minimum remaining time get service first similarly the packets will minimum remaining time left will go out after taking service
a). Total number of packets in system
b). Waiting time in queue for video packets
c). Total number of voice packets in system
d). Total number of data packets in system
e). Actual arrival rate
f). Total number of blocked data, voice and video packets
g). Mean time taken by packet in system
The report should be of 30 pages.
Note: This is a rough sketch and will get changed after discussion with the developer.
