This job requires the audio to be listened to for a manual transcription. Transcription software will not pick up the different accents, pace and tone, I know. It will not at all produce what I am ordering from you which is verbatim. Do not transfer data to automatic transcription software/site/app without prior consent from me. It is vital the tense and syntax is accurate, otherwise I can’t use it.
- provide as a Microsoft word format.
- Save the document name as “20180612 Research Pack 1st Presentation”.
- type the document name in the Header.
- Insert the page number, centered, in the Footer, in the format page of page.
- Name the 4 speakers in BOLD by their respective initials; the main speaker that is presenting as ZR, the male voice as TS, the other 2 females are MR and RK - the speech is what matters not the initials
- align the margin of all speech separate from the speakers name. This can be done by pressing tab after the speakers name and press tab twice on the second line of each speech.
- Type ‘-[interrupted]’ in BOLD where either party is interrupted - and please type what is said during any interruptions
- Type ellipses i.e. ‘...’ to any false starts/finishes or pauses to sentences
- include any laughs, stutters, hesitations e.g. ‘... -ummm/-aah...’, etc.
- Use correct punctuation i.e. for shouts use ‘!’, questions use ‘?’, but for rhetorical questions don’t use a question mark. For quotes of another’s speech add speech marks “”, etc
