build an interactive map with R Shiny

UPDATE: added "cluster marker" Leaflet example as promised after getting back from vacation. Hi there, I'm Matt Sergei (do call me Matt, please) and can help you - suggesting to rather use Leaflet (library) based web map with data reading (possibly, not strictly required) from Google Sheets and "published" JSON or CSV "feed" that you can easily update. Yet, sure, this can also be Shiny application, using Leaflet as well. I have little more experience with that though plain R application (no Shiny server) with Leaflet should be doable too. What you also need is "clustering" that is also relatively easy to implement using Leaflet and custom coding. I can send you an example later when I'm back from vacation on Aug 18th in the afternoon. UPDATE: I was referring to this: [login to view URL] For filtering here's a screenshot of a recent work for US client: [login to view URL] (colors are your intended categories, and that is also a filter as well as country filter - several filters are possible to implement in Leaflet yet that would be easier to implement via a table overlaid on a map and filtering by values in certain column) Otherwise I'm a webmaster and developer for 26 years, scripting web maps/charts/animations more extensively in last 7+ years.
