What we were looking to do is to make two dependent worksheets a kind of dynamic list of names that would auto-populate according to a ("YES")condition set in the primary worksheet. This way, we would never have to update any sheet other than the primary worksheet.
We were told we may need to inour an INDEX function.... would love to set up a 15 min session to go over the document we need to do this with...thank you!

If you are using Microsoft Office 365 then use FILTER function. If not then using INDEX AGGREGATE. For your convenience convert all of your worksheets including the primary worksheet into named ranged tables, then you Daha Fazla
