I am a teacher and I have created a template excel file, and I will be asking other teachers to fill in the file. Once they have done so, they will send it back to me and I will copy and paste the data into another master file and run a macro that I have created and it edits the data and produces 1 document.
But, there are a bunch of other things I would like my macro to do. I'm not sure if all these things are possible:
- Instead of producing 1 document, produce multiple documents, based on the amount of columns in the template excel file - and save them separately with different names, possibly in different folders
- Also, password protect multiple tabs in the output documents - some with different passwords to one another
- Also I have another macro that prints something, but the user has to select the area - I'd like the macro to automatically select a desired area automatically so the user does not have to select the area
- Also, in the final output document, I'd like to delete the macros, so the end user can only use the print macro
- Also, I'd like the macro to be edited, so that it resizes columns in the output document, if they are not wide enough to see certain information
- Also, in the template file, which I'll send out to other teachers - I am worried that they might not be very good with excel and I want to minimize errors they might make. So, to create some error messages or dropdown boxes based on things they input in other areas of the document.
I'd like to know how much this would cost to do - can you list the prices per part if possible - just because I am doing this myself and don't have that much of my money to spend on it - my school won't pay for this help.
