Hi, I am looking for someone to write me a relatively simple R script to datamine some data from Instagram. I know this can be done via the R package InstaR, however I am not that experienced in R. What I want is to analyse the data of a selected group of public Instagram users. What I need is a script that delivers the following output (preferred excel/csv) of each photo posted in 2017 by the public user: - username - photo_id - number_likes - number_comments - caption - date of post The photo itself of the post is NOT needed. I will provide you a list of 200 public users who need to be analysed for the aforementioned variables. I would like to have an excel output (see uploaded file) for all photos of the public users posted in 2017. I know it is possible and perhaps relatively easy with the InstaR package, however unfortunately I lack experience. Thank you in advance, Kind regards, Amanda

Hello! I have written several scrapers in R (twittter, facebook, betexplorer, ...) InstaR package is Instagramp API client and it requires approved app by Instagram to get more than 20 most recent posts. Unless you have that, there no way to get data you need with their API. The only solution I can suggest is scraping and I'm expert in that. I ran some tests and it is totally possible. Also, I can wrap the script into easy to use package and I and I guarantee delivery in 3 days.
