As you'll see in file attached, I have a formula to extract data from a crazy excel file - the purpose of which is to ultimately create a .csv file to load into a transportation dispatching app. The issue is with the columns E & H in the formula tab - extracting 'city'. It works if there are only two rows under the pickup address - it extracts "Portsmouth" under "615 Normandy St" - but returns a 0 under "106 Edison Ave." Now if I change the formula for "Edison" to: =IF(Data!A26="pickup",IF(Data!R28<>"",Data!D29,Data!D30)) - it works - but then I don't know how to nest this if it's indeed the right way to do it - with the existing formula: =IF(Data!A26="pickup",IF(Data!R28<>"",Data!D30,Data!D29)). Thanks!
