Attached is what we have been using previously to keep track of data as it happens. Embedded in the files are macros that are exported into tabs. Our employees would download the file, the customization's, and then use the buttons in the related tabs to document information. It was made by someone who is not an expert and spent a lot of time trying to make it work. While it does in fact work it has issues and is hard to adjust and change as the work environment changes. I would like to either fix or start over on a similar set up where our employees can easily record information via the push of a button. The information has to include the following. Exact Time, Post Name, Activity Categorize (Shift Activity, Drill, Alarm, Security Event), and a sentence description with a space to put our employees name. Ideally we could have some kind of chart connect with a DAY / Swing / Grave Shift where employees names could be added and when an entry is made their names are automatically placed into the document. It also needs to auto save in a way that doesn't slow the document. This will be shared with multiple people. It is a secure document and the information we take needs to be regulated. I also want easily access totals of different categories such as number of patrols, AED checks, alarms, SLAs, etc. I know this is a lot and has specific terminology for the industry.
