connect kafka js with [login to view URL]

I am trying to learn about kafkajs and how to connect it to socket io so the messages from the real time chat get to kafka and it notifies a certain user.I cant seem to find anything alike and the documentanion doesnt help [login to view URL] confuses me so much.

The chat with socketio is already complete the problem is kafkajs
