We are in need of a Social Media Manager that can perform the following tasks each month: - Post our store's weekly events on Facebook and Twitter. Promote them throughout the week for the days preceding the events on the page and within associated groups. Events are already created in Facebook Events and will need to be copied and images, date/time updated as needed. - Create 1-2 daily Facebook Posts and 2-3 daily tweets that relate to the company and industry news. We are a game store, you'll search for industry topics such as Trading Card Games, Board Games and Miniatures information that relate to what we offer in-store or in general would prove useful for gamers to know. Posts should be a variety of text, pictures, videos, branded pictures, etc. - Connect with other Facebook Groups/Pages as well as other Twitter accounts that relate to our industry. Preferably connecting with other businesses that we represent items for such as Pokemon Company, Twitter, etc. Requirements for the position: - All posts need to be in English and proper use of the English language is required. - All posts must be pre-approved and reviewed ahead of time, this means all posts will need approval before they are posted or launched. - Posts should be delivered a week in advance for scheduled posts requiring approval. Copying of Events and connecting with pages does not need approval, however you will need to list the companies you connected with as well as email your direct contact once the events have been posted.

Well considering it's a game store it makes it more interesting. Social media is all about updates regarding everything you love, keeping a hang of who's doing what and knowing the latest trends in all industries. I'll have a pre-hype, then hype-hype and then a post-hype strategy. I'll get people curious about the product and the upcoming events in a way that they will be left craving for more. With the dates of the event reaching near we'll reveal all about it. For successful digital marketing everything needs to be synchronized. The logo, the vision, the moto, the colours that will represent the brand and even the content that is being used. There are numerous strategies to keep the audience engaged, and I know how to do it considering I have been doing it for three years now. We can use static/motion posts for engagement. Also we can let people know who are the people behind the scenes working hard for them. They love it when you do that. They feel more connected to you. We will run short teasers and so much more.
