I need several Flash templates building, which will in turn be used as the basis for sets of interactive activities on a CD-ROM. There will probably be around 6-7 basic templates, and in addition possibly several variations of some of these. The graphical look should be clean and simple - I will supply some visual guides.
Initially I want one template producing, within the next week - if all goes well then we can proceed with others. Please quote for this one interaction only for now. A brief is included below. The other interactions will be of a similar degree of complexity, some a little more complex. I would like the work to be done in the next 4-5 weeks, and I should be able to provide remaining briefs within 7 days (though some further refinement and changes are quite likely as we go along.)
Description of interaction.
Basic appearance - 800x600 stage. Newspaper article (probably provided as a JPEG) in centre of stage, brief instruction text and title at top. (See first guide screen.)
The user can select one of two "highlighter pen" tools (orange and green), and uses them to select several areas of the article that contain one type of content or another (for example 'opinion' or 'fact. If the user clicks incorrectly, a 'wrong' sound effect should play (WAV/AIF to be supplied). When the user clicks correctly, the area they click on should highlight, and a dialogue box asks whether they want to tag the content as type a or type b (for example, 'modal verb' or 'personal idea'), and when they have selected, a note box is overlayed, with a line pointing to the relevant highlighted section, and the appropriate text for type a or type b (see second guide screen for an idea of how this works when several areas have been clicked.)
