Several ceramic tiles in my commercial kitchen have cracked, creating both a safety hazard and a hygiene concern. The damaged section is small—well under 100 sq ft—but sits in a high-traffic food-prep zone, so the work must be neat, fast, and compliant with health-code standards. Scope of work • Carefully lift and dispose of the broken ceramic tiles without disturbing the surrounding floor. • Prep the substrate, addressing any moisture or leveling issues you uncover. • Supply and install matching (or visually compatible) slip-resistant commercial-grade ceramic tiles, then grout and seal the joints. • Leave the surface perfectly flush, smooth, and ready for immediate sanitizing. Timing & access The kitchen runs daily service, so I prefer the job to be scheduled during off-hours or an agreed-upon slow period to keep downtime minimal. Acceptance criteria • No visible cracks, lippage, or hollow spots when tapped. • Grout lines consistent with existing floor. • Final clean-up complete—area swept, mopped, and safe for staff. If you have experience with small-area commercial tile repairs and can show previous work photos or references, send me a quick message outlining your approach and expected turnaround time.
