Frontend Developer – Trading Charts Dashboard (Long-Term, Task-Based)

We are looking for a strong frontend developer to work on a trading dashboard that displays live and historical chart data, order information, and related metrics. The backend, trading logic, and APIs are already in place; your focus will be on implementing a clean, responsive, and high‑performance UI on top of existing APIs. ​ You will start with specific, well-defined tasks (bug fixes and new UI components) and, if things go well, move into a long‑term, task‑based collaboration. Responsibilities Implement and improve charting views (candlestick/line charts, indicators, timeframes) using a modern JS charting library Build and refine reusable UI components for positions, orders, and performance stats Fix existing UI bugs and layout issues across desktop and mobile Consume existing REST/WebSocket APIs and render real‑time data efficiently Collaborate with our CTO and product team in an agile, async workflow (task-based) Required skills Strong experience with modern JavaScript/TypeScript and a SPA framework (React/Vue/Angular) Experience integrating and customizing financial/trading chart libraries (e.g., TradingView, Highcharts, lightweight-charts, etc.) Solid understanding of responsive design, state management, and API integration Familiarity with Git, code review, and ticket-based workflows Nice to have Experience with real‑time data (WebSockets, streaming, live updates) Previous work on trading/fintech dashboards or analytics platforms How we’ll work together Long‑term collaboration if the first tasks go well You’ll be assigned clear tickets with acceptance criteria Communication via chat and short calls when needed Please start your proposal with the word “charts” and include: A short note on your relevant experience 2–3 links or screenshots of dashboards or chart-heavy UIs you’ve built Your hourly rate within 2–8 USD/hr
