Design PWA for Kosher Inspections Management

# Project: Progressive Web App (PWA) for Kosher Supervision (Hashgacha) Management ## Project Overview I am looking for an experienced developer to build a **simple, secure, and easy-to-use Progressive Web App (PWA)** for a small kosher supervision (Hashgacha) organization. The system will be used internally by mashgichim (kosher supervisors) to manage businesses, perform inspections, record visit information, upload photos, and maintain inspection history. **I prefer a Progressive Web App (PWA) rather than separate iPhone and Android apps**, as it should work on phones, tablets, and computers through a web browser while still functioning like an installed app. The design should focus on **speed, simplicity, and ease of use**. --- # User Roles ### Administrator The Administrator should be able to: * Add, edit, and delete businesses * Assign businesses to mashgichim (if applicable) * Create and edit inspection checklists * Manage payment status * Set inspection reminder intervals * View all inspection history * View and download reports * Manage users ### Mashgiach The Mashgiach should be able to: * View businesses * Perform inspections * Complete checklists * Record issues * Enter notes * Upload/take photos * Submit completed inspection reports --- # Business Categories The home screen should display three categories: * Regular * Meat & Fish * Catering Selecting a category should display a list of businesses. The business list should display **only the business name** (and optionally the business logo) to keep the interface clean. A simple "+" button should allow adding new businesses. --- # Business Information Each business should contain: * Business name * Owner's name * Phone number * Email address * Physical address * Products being manufactured * Business logo/photo This information should only be visible when opening that business's profile. --- # Business Profile Each business should have its own profile containing: ## Business Information Displays all business details. ## Payment Status Track whether the business is: * Paid / Current * Payment Due * Overdue This status should be editable. ## Inspection Frequency Each business should have its own inspection schedule, for example: * Weekly * Every two weeks * Monthly * Custom number of days If an inspection becomes overdue, the system should generate a reminder notification. --- # Inspection Checklist Every business should have its own customizable inspection checklist. The Administrator should be able to add, edit, or delete checklist items directly from the system. Different businesses may have different checklist questions. --- # Completing an Inspection When a mashgiach performs a visit, a new inspection record should be created. The mashgiach must enter: * Mashgiach's name * Date and time (recorded automatically) * Checklist results * Notes * Photos For every checklist item there should be two options: **Verified / Good** or **Issue Found** If "Issue Found" is selected, a text box should automatically appear requiring the mashgiach to describe the issue before completing the inspection. --- # Photos The mashgiach should be able to: * Take photos using the device camera * Upload existing photos Photos should automatically become part of that inspection record. --- # Visit History Every inspection should be permanently stored. Each inspection record should include: * Business name * Date and time * Mashgiach's name * Checklist results * Issues found * Notes * Photos The system should maintain at least one year of inspection history (preferably unlimited). --- # Automatic PDF Report After every completed inspection, the system should automatically generate a professional PDF report including: * Business name * Business category * Date and time * Mashgiach's name * Checklist results * Issues found * Notes * Photos (when available) The PDF should be saved with the inspection record and available for viewing or downloading later. --- # Automatic Email Notification Each completed inspection should automatically send an email (to configurable recipients) containing: * Inspection summary * PDF inspection report * Photos (if possible) --- # Technical Requirements * Progressive Web App (PWA) * Secure login system * Cloud database with automatic backups * Responsive design for phones, tablets, and desktop computers * Clean, modern, easy-to-use interface * Fast performance --- # Deliverables The successful developer must provide: * Complete working PWA * Full source code * Full intellectual property ownership transferred to me upon final payment * Database setup * Installation/deployment instructions * Well-documented, maintainable code * No licensing restrictions --- # When Submitting a Bid Please include: * Examples of similar systems you have developed * Recommended technology stack * Estimated completion time * Fixed-price quotation * Confirmation that I will receive full ownership of the source code and intellectual property upon project completion I also welcome suggestions for improving the system, provided they maintain the app's simplicity and are discussed with me before implementation.
