Hi, That feature list isn't an MVP — it's four products. Project boards, a social feed, real-time messaging, and time tracking with invoicing are each a substantial build, and shipping all of them half-finished is the usual way platforms like this stall before launch. If I were scoping this, I'd ask: what's the one thing that makes a freelancer sign up on day one? My guess is the project management layer, because it replaces something they're actively frustrated with. The social layer is what keeps them, but it's worthless without users — an empty feed is worse than no feed. I'd build PM first, ship it, get real freelancers on it, then add the community layer once there's something to populate it with. On the backend I'd lean Node/NestJS for team continuity with the frontend, though my own default is Java/Spring Boot and I'd be glad to make either case on a call. Real-time messaging over WebSockets with Redis pub/sub behind it. Supabase is a reasonable accelerator for auth and storage at MVP stage, but I'd keep the business logic in your own backend so you're not locked in when you outgrow it. Two things I'd design for early, because retrofitting them is painful: the notification system as a single event-driven service (every feature will eventually need to notify, and bolting that on per-feature gets messy fast), and invoicing with proper money handling — integers in minor units, never floats, and an immutable record once issued.
