Description: We’re on the hunt for an experienced game developer (or team) to bring our unique tower defense game to life for mobile platforms. This project involves creating a competitive 1v1 real-time multiplayer game that combines strategic gameplay, quirky characters, and a satirical narrative set in a post-apocalyptic world. Key Responsibilities: Game Development: Develop a mobile tower defense game with real-time multiplayer functionality. Faction Gameplay: Implement two distinct factions with unique abilities, visual styles, and strategies. Resource Management: Build systems for resource generation, allocation, and usage. Core Mechanics: Include character deployment, tower attacks, and balanced victory conditions (e.g., sudden death or cumulative damage). UI/UX Design: Ensure smooth, intuitive controls for drag-and-drop gameplay and a visually engaging interface. Multiplayer System: Design and implement matchmaking, ranked/unranked modes, and leaderboards. Satirical Aesthetic: Incorporate the game's bold, cartoonish style and humor through animations, sound effects, and character dialogue. Requirements: Proven experience in developing multiplayer mobile games (examples/portfolio required). Expertise in Unity or Unreal Engine (or similar platforms) for 2D/3D game development. Ability to design and balance characters, abilities, and resource systems. Proficiency in integrating in-app purchases and monetization features.
