Chrome web Serial App

Hi there

here i have a sample code to communicate with serial ports. .

idea is read from the serial port and sent the signal to text box in the new 2 .html file . so the path has to add to

"externally_connectable": {

"matches": ["*://*.[login to view URL]*"]

}

in [login to view URL] .

but when try to add to chrome extension it throws an error " [login to view URL] = new [login to view URL]();"

can you make this work ? im not sure that chrome event definition have changed . you dont have to test it using real serial ports . if you want you can use null modem to add virtual serial ports. but only needed to run this extension without any errors . can you solve it ? quote me if possible.
