Custom Google Sheets Invoice System

I need a streamlined invoicing workbook built entirely in Google Sheets that improves on the template I already use. Here’s the flow I’m after: • Tab 1 – Customer Database A master list that stores each company’s details: legal name, billing address, plus job-site name and address. These fields feed the rest of the file through data-validation dropdowns, so accuracy is critical. • Tab 2 – Invoice Form When I choose a company and job site from the dropdowns, their corresponding addresses should fill in automatically. The form must: – Display my logo in the top-left corner. – Generate the next sequential invoice number every time the sheet is duplicated or a “New Invoice” button is pressed (Apps Script is fine). – Calculate totals for labour cost only; I might add materials or other expenses later, so build it so those columns can be activated easily. Everything should update live, with taxes and subtotals handled through clear formulas. • Tab 3 – Invoice Tracker Each time a new invoice is created, an automated log captures date, company, job-site name, invoice number, and amount. I also want editable fields for payment date and method so I can reconcile later. General notes I’m already working inside Google Sheets and will share my current file so you can reuse styling and colour choices. The final workbook should look clean, professional, and be simple for non-technical staff to maintain. Please outline how you’ll set up the scripts, data-validation, and any protected ranges, plus an estimated timeline for delivery.
