We want a very simple, plain logo that symbolizes healthy,nutritious food. But that mainly shows that food is not only about taste and looks but also about sharing with others. Our concept of food is opposite to fast food. It would be called slow food where meals are cooked together with the family and then shared between friends.
We offer South-American specialties, our main one being an Empanada which is the equivalent to a meat pie or Cornish Pastry. However for our catering menu we have a wide variety of dishes that come from all over the world.
We thought it would be nice to see the shape of one of these figure from Pomaire. You can find them by searching on google images for: Pomaire Artesanias.
We don't necessarily want it to be linked to anything that relates to South America like a chilli or Mexican sombrero.
Would prefer a real world object (pictorial) or a conceptual/symbolic logo. We like the yellow sand colour seen on the Ricolicious letters, similar to the Empanada photo one.
