UI Design and Logo for iOS Quiz Game

I have a game that functions almost exactly like Logo Quiz ([url removed, login to view]), except it is sports-themed. They layout is mostly complete, but I need some better graphics. I've included a few screens of Logo Quiz, as well as a mock-up design I made in an hour to serve as guidance.
It is necessary for you to design this with both iPad and iPhone formats in mind. That is, design it at double the resolution of the iPhone 4 (1280x1920), and simply fill the extra space required for iPad 3 (1536x2048). If you look at [url removed, login to view], you will see a black box around the content. That is the region of the iPhone's display. Design with it in mind - your design must work on both devices without needing to be coded twice.
Obviously, this is a sports trivia app, so it should look the part. I like to have a modern high-tech style in my apps. As you can see, I achieve this with parallels and gradients. You are welcome to use whatever techniques you like, of course.
I also like to add little bits of animation in my apps, so if you can come up with something dynamic that wouldn't be too difficult to program, that would be nice too. For example, in the SportsLogoQuiz images, I would make the little camera flashes occur randomly in the stadium rows. It would also be nice in this example if I could swap between soccer, football, baseball, etc. This is just an idea, though - you are welcome to be creative.
Deliverable is the graphics in a Photoshop file (optional Illustrator included), properly organized into groups, and layers named sensibly. The resolution must target iPad 3 and protect the aspect ratio of the iPhone as I described above. Likewise, I will need an icon for the app that is in vector format.
Please make a quick mock up to show me what you are capable of. Obviously, bidders who do so will receive much preference over those who do not. I will provide you with additional reference materials once you have won the project.
