## Deliverables
> -? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? The design files will need to be supplied in either LAYERED ? .PSD or Illustrator format (adobe) ?€" he'll probably use photoshop or illustrator ?€" if he uses CorelDraw he'll need to export it into a format that can be read by the adobe products
>
> -? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? Design width: 980px (that's the width of the actual design ?€" the background is separate: see the screenshot I've attached ?€" that's what it looks like on a widescreen monitor)
>
> -? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? NO SCALING: last time we got a design from an artist he "scaled" it up to 1500 px then once we resized it down to 980px, everybody wondered why the text was too small ?€" so tell him to base his design on 980 px wide (he'll also probably do up a snazzy background as well ?€" or just simply have a flat colour, whatever is ok as long we get that width right)
>
> -? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? NO DEPTH RESTRICTIONS: another frequent problem we get from art people is that they try to make it so that the design is a fixed "depth" ?€" that's impractical from a web users view as pages will often have content added to them over time and thus will need to "stretch" to accommodate the content requirements.. .
>
> -? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? Fonts: any fonts he uses for headings etc he'll have to include (when it comes to the actual page content, we're heavily restricted anyway to only 5 fonts [web standards]) ?€" we've got to build according to these "web standards" because of the varying browsers

> Ok he's (or she) is welcome to contact me as much as needed during the dev process (any real techie stuff my programmer and your artist can talk direct) ?€" all we need to do is ensure that it looks the goods but still understand that we have some limitations when it comes to building sites that meet modern web standards. It's hard to identify them all up front and usually it's just a process of working through them as we go ?€" if your artist has experience in working with standards compliant web designers he should be aware of them anyway.

> -? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? Wouldn't mind seeing your's and Matt's notes on what you've got so far so I can get an idea of the content requirements ?€" but I think it's going to be pretty simple:
>
> o? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? Homepage with some boxes on the front page identifying the various services (also perhaps a box in the left column linking to the "COLOUR SELECTOR" flash element
>
> o? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? Standard content pages: pretty standard ?€" about us, FAQ's, testimonials, contact submission form, services pages (accessible via a "drop-down" menu from the main nav menu ?€" you'll be able to add/edit/delete these dropdown's as you see fit ?€" so if you want to add another service later on down the track you'll be able to do it)
>
> o? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? Before and Afters's gallery page (you'll be able to upload photos from jobs etc)
>
> o? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? Flash element page: Ok max width you've got on this is 980px ?€" that's as wide as the design itself (we may make it smaller depending on how large the filesize is ?€" 600px is probably wide enough to showcase what you want to do and keep the filesize in a reasonable range ?€" I'll probably have to be cc'ed with the comms with the flash programmer on this one)xxxxx
