For this job, you'll be given the source code for an existing Android application. It's not a massive project, maybe four different screens UI-wise all up.
- First, you'll look at bugs users have commented about on the store, and fix these.
- Second, you'll do a bit of quality checking yourself. You'll look for other possible bugs, and make sure the app is rock-solid-reliable.
- Third, you'll update the project for Android L, structurally and visually (see here: [url removed, login to view]). The app will maintain backwards compatibility to 4.0. You'll also update the look of time-pickers to use the new radial-style that Google does. Source code is here: [url removed, login to view]
- Fourth, you'll go over the app with a fine tooth pick and make sure it's 100%. Make sure it's an app users will really, really love. Make sure it fits in. Make sure it looks great. Adjust things by single pixels if need be.
The successful applicant will have proven experience in implementing Android apps with stunning UI and rock solid reliability.
The work is expected to take around 10 hours, pay will be hourly. There will be one or two stages of feedback, where progress can be discussed.
