Main Illustrations needed for the iPhone app are as follows.
1) Loading screen for app - 1 Illustration
This is the screen that shows when the iPhone is loading the rest of the application. The illustration should visually represent both the name of the app and what the app does as well as introduce the overall feel of the app. The apps name has to be included which can be handset. This illustration may also be used to visually represent the app on our website or on other blogs or articles.
2) Category types - 6 illustration packs.
Continuing on from the loading illustration we need an illustration for each Category. These categories are still being narrowed down but here is an example for a category named 'Incase of emergency'. Lets say the category may be represented by a glass case which when selected in the app will have a gesture ( interaction with the screen ) to open, this gesture may be tapping on the glass to break it. So the 'illustration pack' will be 1) the main illustration of the glass case 2) cracked glass on the case 3) case with glass broken away.
Other illustrations / style sheet needed.
3) Button Style sheet - (5-10) Small icons / Button styles to use throughout app ie. Heart Icon for favourite or Arrow Icon for 'Back'
Once we have got an indication of price and availability we can supply a clearer breakdown of all illustrations and also supply the illustrator with mock-ups and user flow sheets that better describe how the app is used. Hopefully this is enough information for now.
