I need a person who is proficient in making mouse pointers/cursors for Windows 7. Although, I think other Windows mouse pointers/cursors, and possibly even Mac, are compatible. Even if you just have an intrest in this project design, there are videos on the Web for cursor creation. I cannot do it myself because I do not have the basic tools like Photoshop, and Illustrator to make a model 32 pixel square (I think) cursor canvas. It also involves color masking which is difficult for me to do because I am color sight deficient.
I already have 3 cursors picked out that I still want to use, and which would only need minor modifications, if any. I have 1 image (a GIF) picked out for the Link Select. I have an idea of what I want for Text Select. For the rest, I do not have anything particular in mind, so these will be at the artist's discretion to go with the rest of the set. Not all of the mouse pointers/cursors need to be original material. They can be based on something else that is similar to what I describe. -->My theme concept is LA/Los Angeles, so it would help if you were familiar with and/or have a passion for the city's "iconography".
I want a full set of the 15 mouse pointers/cursors, including: Normal Select, Help Select, Working In Background, Busy, Precision Select, Text Select, Handwriting, Unavailable, Horizontal Resize, Vertical Resize, Diagonal Resize 1, Diagonal Resize 2, Move, Alternate Select, and, Link Select.
If you feel you have the interest in and qualifications for my project, please tell me a little something about yourself, such as your idea for this project, your experience, or what interests you in my project. Because this is a small project, and I want someone who is already proficient at making mouse pointers, I am offering $30, of which the total amount would be put into a Milestone payment at the project start, and released at project completion.
If you are interested in seeing what files I have to start from, private message me, and I will send them to you.
Thank you for your consideration.
I have uploaded a sample, which is the cursor I am currently using, and probably wish to keep, but revise the pointer precision. Unless, the designer has any suggestions on improving it.
