Hello! I need a website, something I can put on a business card.
I want something simple, which I thought meant I could do it by myself. It's been months and I'm not happy. I've surrendered to the idea that I need professional help. Please help me!
I have a domain and monthly hosting (which I'm not taking advantage of because I cant figure it out) at Namecheap.com. I have tried creating a website on wordpress and linking the domain (again, paid for and worthless, can I return that?!), but I can't get it to look professional (ha!). [url removed, login to view]
I need a simple, beautiful website with:
-About me. (My philosophy, practice and teaching)
-The private classes I offer (yoga, posture)
-How to contact me
*I am always getting requests for follow up information after classes and workshops. I would like to be able to post articles with information, resources, recommendations, etc. to offer to my students, and to bring in more clients if they like what they read. I was thinking a blog of some sort was the only way I could do this, but I'm open to suggestions for how to add weekly (monthly?) articles to my site.
I want something simple and light but that can grow when/if necessary. I eventually want to add:
-an "Ask me" section where I can answer specific questions that I get.
I'm playing with the idea to have social media integrated on the site, instagram/twitter/facebook, so my feed shows up on the site.
An important part of this website: I am willing to pay for a professional, I am ready (I was hesitating for a while). But it's important to me that for now I am able to take over once the site is built. I want to be able to add articles myself, and maybe even add pages/categories. For this reason I was thinking Wordpress is probably the smartest, or something like that. I can code a little, but I would need to know where to go... as of now, cPanel is beyond me. Actual coding I can read and edit in basic ways, but I haven't been able to decode how to get in and do it using my Namecheap. Very annoying!
I'd love to develop a relationship with someone who I can go back to when I want an upgrade (the idea is global yoga dominance!).
Thank you all for reading, I know you get a thousand requests for every one real client. I hope to be your next great client!!! :-)
