Hello, I am in charge of the development of a language learning app to teach the Abenaki language (a North America indigenous language) The goal is to create an app similar to DuoLingo / Babel. The app will teach from French to Abenaki. But the mockups can be made in English. I would like to app to have a look similar to DuoLingo; cartoonish style. Instead of the Owl, I was thinking a little indian could be your avatar/guide thru the app. I would like the mockups to include an example page for each type of games and also the other typical app sections: Sections: - Homepage - Profile (score, points, levels) - Leaderboards - Categories / Courses levels Types of games: - Image/word association - Sentence building - Sound/word/image association - Examples of word utilisation and expressions - Grammar tips - etc. Those lists are just as a reference and not definitive, I am open to suggestions and modifications. I really like how DuoLingo is designed. The only thing I don't like about it is the way the progression is made and how you can't skip ahead and you are forced to go thru the basic challenges... I would like something in between DuoLingo and Babel for the Categories/Courses. So in other words, I would want almost an app very similar to Duolingo themed with indian cartoons instead. This is the first phase of the app, I will then probably post another ad on here to begin de development of it. If you or your agency has experience on this as well, it could potentially be a follow up contract.
