We have 15 documents that require updating in PDF format.
11 of the documents require 10 changes each to update the text and the footer codes in InDesign. I have included an example of one document with the changes shown in red (Titled: REDLINE CHANGES FOR PARTNER APPS 112017) in the zip folder along with all the documents to be changed. (It is important to note that the REDLINE example does not have a 3rd page but these partner apps need to have the address change in the footer of the 3rd page as well) Please make changes in black on all apps.
Then, those InDesign files need to be converted to PDFs and made into fillable forms. This can be done by inserting the new PDF pages you create into the fillable PDFs I have included. (Or the fillable fields can be copied from the included fillable PDFs and pasted into the new docs you create. Whichever is easier. I usually “replace” each page in the existing PDF with the corresponding page from the new PDF and adjust the fields after) The fillable fields then need to be realigned so any fillable fields that may need to move are adjusted and add fillable checkboxes for the 3 new checkboxes and new fields.
The corresponding InDesign files and existing Fillable PDFs for each company are in individual folders so you know which go with which. The folder titled, “MegaM-RBS-TCB” has one InDesign file that can be inserted into all 6 of the fillable PDFs because the PDFs contain the individualization in the fillable fields. The new PDFs will need to have the logos inserted into the top left corner of the first page of each PDF in the folder. The 3 logos are named according to the company name of each app.
The 4 documents in the folder titled: “Pivotal Apps for Formatting”, have already been updated in red and only require formatting adjustments. These adjustments include changing the red text to black and realigning fillable fields that may need to move and adding fillable checkboxes for the 3 new checkboxes and new fields.
Please also verify that the fields can accommodate the proper amount of text in all docs. For example, we found a couple errors that need to be fixed: 1) In the legal section, state abbreviation is too small for 2 characters (doesn’t shrink the text). Some work, e.g. NC, but OH gets cut off. 2) In one section, the zip code is limited to 4 characters, should be 5.
We need the final InDesign files as well as the final PDFs.
