As the newest addition to our graphic design team, you will play an instrumental role in supporting our sales and brand strategy. Working at an InsurTech company as we execute on the next phase of our growth, your role will adapt as the business continues to grow. One day you will be designing market concepts for our technology platform and the next you will be building sales materials in advance of a client meeting
This role will be a cross-functional role supporting design needs across Tech, Marketing, Sales, and Operations. You will be responsible for the production of visually appealing sales presentations, investor materials, and online advertisements – to name a few. This role requires translating ideas & processes into easily understood visuals & presentations.

Develop concepts, graphics and layouts for product illustrations, client presentations, investor materials, and websites
Create decks and other marketing materials (i.e. proposals, presentations, sell sheets and event invites)
Understand the role that design plays in the sales process and feel comfortable working with all of our assets (in Chicago, and across the country).
Create engaging and impactful designs that reflect our product and the client - addressing both their needs and their objectives while keeping their branding consistent.
Adhere to Snapsheet user experience design standards by following the digital style guide for all elements, such as buttons, fonts, forms, tables, colors, icons and navigation.
Passion and a talented designer with a commanding sense of layout, typography, color, and composition
Highly skilled in PowerPoint and Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects and InDesign
Possession of creative flair, versatility, conceptual/visual ability and originality
Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio
Proven ability to work cross-functionally with internal stakeholders (clients/vendors)
Excellent communication skills, including the ability to effectively present ideas both verbally and visually, as well as an understanding of visual storytelling
Sense of urgency and ability to handle tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
This job operates in an office environment.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a contractor position based out of our Chicago office. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday.

Education and Experience
0-2 Years of graphic design experience designing sales and marketing materials
Experience working in technology industries a plus
Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, User Interface Design, User Experience Design, Human Computer Interaction, or similar
Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint)
