Verdi Consulting Inc. is hiring a graphics illustrator to start immediately. The timeline includes red-team review Friday, December 9, 2016, with a gold-team review that weekend. Proposal submission date is December 14, 2016. Ideal person has availability to work evenings and weekends ideally starting tomorrow.
Verdi Consulting is seeking a freelance graphic artist who can:
Demonstrate his/her well-developed ability to turn words and concepts into pictures that proposal evaluators, who are not subject matter experts, will understand.
Demonstrate creativity and excellent technical skills in all aspects of graphic design including concepts, typography, imagery, color and layout.
Develop and design all phases of assigned projects from initial concept through final production including proofing, file preparation and distribution of proposal graphics.
Work collaboratively with proposal team to develop design concepts, providing advice and recommendations to ensure effective results.
Provide proofing and quality control of marketing materials to ensure they are accurate and delivered on time.
Support the proposal production process including printed proposal submissions
Develop graphic content for bid/proposal related deliverables including: illustrations, icons, maps, organization charts, process flows, Gantt charts, transformation flows, architectures, proposal cover concepts, and presentations
Verifies that graphics content is consistent and compliant with all RFP requirements
Required Qualifications and Experience
A proven track record providing graphics for winning proposals
Technical and creative skills in all aspects of graphics design including concepts.
Ability to work independently and function effectively as a member of a team.
Advanced proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (e.g. Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop and Fireworks) and Microsoft Office.
Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience with proposal graphics.
