Graphics Design and DIVI Web Development Project

A new Event Organisation business, is being set up to promote events targeted at the over 35’s singles market. Aiming to deliver a range of classy and stylish functions to members, the business will differentiate itself from the regular “over 28’s nightclub scene” by offering a more formal and elegant opportunity to meet new people. In order to market the business and its events, and manage memberships and event ticket sales, a new website is required. The website must reflect the modern affluent image the business will try to project, allow events to be promoted across social media platforms and allow the capturing of visitor information with the goal of forming a marketing database. The approach to this project will be: - Utilise a graphics design team to generate a stylish look and feel for the site, and to provide an opportunity for input through a mockup process; - Implement a membership system, where potential customers need to “sign up” before they can register for events. This flexible system will allow for the creation of various membership types, ranging from free to various packages with different inclusions, as guided by business logic; - Provide a complete event management system, allowing events to be posted, ticketed, and fully managed. The ticketing system will include a mobile phone based QR code system for ticket validation at the door. - Implement an automatic social media system, where new events listed and new posts made to the website are automatically sent to a range of social media platforms.
